The main change in the mechanics of BFG Staking is that the pool is now refilled manually with real USDT, instead of automatic accruals from platform revenue. You can choose one of two currencies for your reward: USDT or BFG. When choosing BFG, you will receive an additional +1% bonus.
Will the Distribution Amount From the Staking Pool Change?
The daily distribution always equals 3% of the current Staking pool balance, so the exact amount can move from day to day as the pool changes. What never changes is the formula, so you can always see the pool size and work out your share yourself. Rewards are taken from that daily distribution and split across all holders. stBFG counts double, as usual. Let's look at an example.
Let a daily distribution from the Staking pool is $50 000 and there are three users in the pool: User 1 (100 BFG), User 2 (1 000 BFG), and User 3 (750 stBFG). The number of tokens in the Staking pool will be 100 + 1 000 + 750 x 2 (because of x2 for stBFG) = 2 600. In this case, the rewards will be distributed as follows:
User 1: 100 x $19.23 ($50 000 / 2600) = $1 923.08
User 2: 1 000 x $19.23 = $19 230.77
User 3: (750 x 2) x $19.23 = $28 846.15
